New Student Orientation (NSO) - Choosing Dates

I understand that UCLA has a system in place whereby all students, regardless of NSO session date, have an equal chance of enrolling in “high demand” courses (i.e. ones that start out a sequence in the sciences). However, does anyone know if picking later dates penalizes students wanting to get classes with certain teachers (i.e. ones rated high in Bruinwalk)? Or will ALL teachers for these high-demand classes have slots reserved equally?

Update: Question was answered during web session with an NSA. She stated slots are reserved across teachers so there’s no penalty for going to later NSO sessions. As for non-freshman sequence classes (i.e. GEs), as a Freshman, you’re pretty much screwed anyways regardless of NSO session because all continuing students will fill up all the popular ones in June.
