Is there a discount for the LIRR for students ?

Yea they are available at the SAC (student activites enter) however you can only buy one per month and they sell out REALLY REALLY quickly.

Is winter session open to spring admits?

What classes are available in the Manhattan campus?

What is U3, or U4 standing?

How do the course numbers work? 100= freshman, 200=sophomore? 300 = junior? 400= senior , or is 400 grad? explain thanks?

In order: Yes, check here (Stony Brook University - Office of the Registrar), U3 is Junior standing (>57 credits) and U4 is Senior standing (>87 credits), and yes, roughly... it's just general academic level/rigor more than it is tied in with any specific class level.
