I'm pretty athletic. Did track my freshman year, swim/dive (mostly dive) jr and sr years. I'm not a good diver, or swimmer so I probly wont do it at the Academy.
My question: Can I find a sport where I can fit in? My logic is saying that to make a team you probably need 4 years experience in high school...at least.
(please excuse my grammar)

Can you shoot?

when i was at my CVW, i saw 2 guys playing some pretty competitive badmitton (not being sarcastic). im sure they didnt play that 4 years in high school.

is there ping pong? i'm a pretty mean ping pong player.

Lightweight and Heavyweight Crew is a good option. Most team members at Navy never rowed before attending the academy. Crew is a grueling sport and is not for the faint at heart.

crew is an amazing sport....if you are up to the challenge!

There are some very competitive club teams. Hockey and rugby are club sports at USNA. Many rugby players come from other sports, football soccer, etc. They are quite competitive and usually nationally ranked. Being a relative new fan to rugby, I can say it is one of the toughest sports I have ever watched. Football without pads pretty much sums it up. If you have skating experience, check out hockey.
