New to the ACT--taken the SAT twice. Need a good place to start.

What should I hit first? I read the Sparknotes ACT guide today and have The Real ACT Prep Guide book. I scored 2130 on my SAT and really want to score a 34+ on my ACT (in April). I plan on taking a practice test Sunday (good idea?) to see where I am and take one each week leading up while doing practice questions/sections every night. Is there a best way to prepare? I've gathered it's a bit different than preparing for the SAT and I just want some sort of advice for starting out to get the best score possible in 1 month from now.

Thansk!

I would start with the real ACT book. I take one timed practice section per night and a full test on the weekends. Practicing with real ACT Tests has helped me the most. I review what I got wrong after each test.

I am taking agin in April, are you?
Good luck!

I’m in the exact situation as you, except that I have the ACT on 3/18. Haha, spring break…
