New USC Faculty Appointments

<p>There are more new faculty coming to USC. Another thread listed appointments in Thornton and Marshall. These professors are from various schools at the university.</p>

<p>The School of International Relations announced the appointment of Dr. Joshua Aizenman who will hold the Robert and Katheryn Dockson Professor of International Relations and Economics effective January 2013. Professor Aizenman earned his Ph.D. in economics from the Univ. of Chicago. He is considered to be one of the top international finance economists in the world. His research interests include macroeconomic instability, sovereign default and East Asian markets.</p>

<p>He has been a consultant to the International Monetary Fund. Dr. Aizenman has held positions of university leadership. He will teach in the field of international relations and economics.</p>

<p>Andrew Coe has been appointed as Assistant Professor of International Relations. Professor Coe earned his B.S. at Cal Tech and his Ph.D. in political science at Harvard. His specialty is the political economy of war and peace. Dr. Coe will be teaching both undergraduate and graduate classes effective August 2013.</p>

<p>Joining the faculty this month is Benjamin Graham. He will be Assistant Professor of International Relations. He earned his Ph.D. in political science at UC San Diego after serving in the Peace Corps in central Asia. His specialty is the politics of the world economy. He will be teaching both graduate and undergraduate classes.</p>
