Hi everyone, just curious what's everyone New Year's Resolution? It's okay if you do not expecting of meeting those resolutions but it would be nice to hear some of it. Happy New Year's Everyone!!

Go out and party more. Stop sleeping through things (IE Halloween. I was so ****ed.)

I don’t have any. If I want to change something about myself, I don’t wait around for another year to roll by to do so.

I’m transferring to a new school from community college soooooo

Get back into baseball shape
keep my grades consistent
party like no other
Just go for it, dont be scared and play the numbers game, last one is a little inside thing haha.

make life easier for someone

ABR1190’s response should pretty much end this thread.

I wonder who decided that goal setting should be based upon some particular arbitrary point in the earth’s orbital revolution around the sun…

To meet more people and build stronger friendships. To work harder at school.

Not to cut my hair in the year 2011. I can’t make real goals. I have to have real dedication. I don’t have any for New Years. I was already planning to see how long I could get my hair to go to donate or sell, so it works.

The same can be said for all holidays and birthdays?

Lol at this.

yea for real. Did you mean to get into the shape of a baseball player? or into the shape of a baseball?

I think it was 2 years ago. I made the resolution to go out for a morning run every day starting 1/1. It turns out I gave up the second day. I also realized that if you need to accomplish something, don’t wait for the new year. lol

Become a vegetarian been cutting back on meat for a few months now, time to take the final step.

Really? I meant get back into the shape I was in when I played baseball in high school. Why the hell would i want to turn into a shape of a baseball.

Not a resolution for the new year, but for the new semester: get better grades ㅡㅡ’

I was just saying that baseball shape doesn’t really require anything other than being able to run 90 feet without collapsing.

so, new year’s resolutions are doomed to fail because you’re waiting for a specific date to make the goal, which means it’s not really important to you, otherwise you’d start immediately?

^^For some it’s a psychological thing. There’s a reason they tell people who wanna quit smoking to pick a ‘quit date’ rather than just stop right then and there.

I lol’ed as well… It’s impossible to be in too bad of shape for baseball.

I did not realize that people made “resolutions” on all holidays and birthdays.
