I really really really want to go to college in NYC or in some close distance to NYC. I want to major, or have the option of majoring or minoring in, music theory and composition, music technology, music production/recording, songwriting, vocal preformance, and the option to major or minor in business or marketing. I have looked at the following colleges and would appreciate any and all feedback about these schools or any other schools you might suggest(PS price doesnt matter and *means especially like)...
*The New School
*NYU
*CUNY City College
CUNY Brooklyn
Julliard
Manhatten School of Music
Fordham

Juilliard is best for music period but if you also want business it’s probably not for you.

Juilliard requires an audition and has a lower selection rate than Harvard.

yea, the only reason i put up julliard because whenever i asked similar questions thats the only response i got

CUNY Brooklyn Conservatory of Music is an excellent music program.

[Conservatory of Music at Brooklyn College - CUNY](http://www.bcmusic.org/)

However, if you want business you would have to take those classes @ CUNY Baruch.
