New York Student looking to apply to Harvard and Cornell

Hi - I looked at a bunch of other threads on this website, but none had the exact information I was looking for, so I figured I would ask personally. I am a senior this upcoming year (class of 2015) and I'm looking to apply to Harvard and possibly Cornell in the fall. These are my "reach" schools, as I would really prefer to attend a school in my area, but hey, dreams are dreams. Here are my stats:

SAT I: 2210 (700-Math, 790-Writing, 720-Reading) - retaking in the fall
SAT II: 740-World History, 780-US History
Unweighted GPA: 4.0
Weighted GPA (cumulative) 4.13 (this will go up slightly by the time I apply)
I'm at the top of my class of about 105 students, and attend a private school in New York State.

I have a ton of extracurriculars, various academic awards, service awards, leadership commendations, and I'm really interested in music so I have various achievements to show in those areas. I've taken 3 AP's so far and am planning to take 8 more this coming year (even if it drives me to madness lol).

I wanted to know my chances of getting into these schools with these stats, especially the SAT IIs listed, because those are my most unfamiliar territory. Thank you to anyone who can help, and if you need more info, ask away.

I go to neither of the two schools but I have some HS friends who go to Cornell (CALS & ILR) so from what I know you have a match (or high match depending on your intended major) at Cornell (except COE).

Their SAT scores are 1900-2200 and they took like 2-3 SAT II’s I remember.

If you are an underrepresented minority, you’ll have a match at Harvard, I guess (there are threads about underrepresented minorities getting into Ivies and their stats. You may look up the threads).

If you’re not, Harvard is (high) reach…

I’m not an underrepresented minority, but I do have some other things that would be very helpful to put on a college application. I know of one of my friends that got into Harvard and is not of a minority ethnicity, simply because of how well she did in high school. I’m hoping, but not counting on it at this point haha. Thanks!
