University of Michigan- Ann Arbor would be the better pick. Though if your a graduate student you may would like to consider New York University. Really offers a lot in that age group and up, and also start to help you explore life/ world.

Bearcats, even for finance, Ross is not weaker than Stern. If you look at placement statistics into BB IBanks, you will see that Stern only places twice as many students into IBanks than Ross…and Stern is twice the size of Ross. Furthermore, far more students at Stern want to go into Finance than Ross. Back in my day, Michigan was definitelymore highly recruited than Stern…and I worked for 2 of the top 5 BB IBanks at the time.

May I ask your comment on this comparison for job placement view point. both student sent resume for multiple industry.

Michigan LSA Economics Major
vs
NYU CAS Economics major + Business minor

Both student has about same GPA and outfit look.

Alexandre
please…

Wov2013, both will land an interview for sure and the rest will depend on the individual’s ability & preparedness to ace it.

Thank you.

Any good idea for UM beat up NYU CAS Economics major + Business minor student?

again both student has about same GPA and outfit look

I would always recommend Michigan over NYU. I just don’t like the NYU environment. It has no campus culture or school spirit.

i love how everyone is thining they know exactly what theyre going to do on these forums, do people realize that the college student changes her/his major on AVERAGE of 2.5 times? stop worrying about 4 years in the future, they are both great schools, go where you are going to have more fun

Alexandre, Sternies actually do have some school spirit or stern spirit I should say. I visited some of my Stern friends last month and they’re actually quite proud of their school.

Thanks Alexandre
I do not like NYU culture.and I believe UM has more better education and college life.
however even ivy student facing job hunting problem, I know UM not offer business minor for LSA student, question is how keep up and present LSA economics student to job market over such as NYU business minor student who has little more NY dry foot than UM student.
any suggestion please.Thank you
