Is NYU offer full financial aid or scholarships to undergraduates in the fields of applied math and / or engineering?
NYU gives terrible aid.
Run their NPC and you’ll see.
NYU uses both the FAFSA (if you are not an international student) and the Profile to determine need based aid. The school does not guarantee to meet full need for anyone…and the field of study really doesn’t matter.
Are you saying you need $72,000 a year in aid to attend NYU? If so…look elsewhere.
What CAN your family pay?
Are you a citizen or permanent resident green card holder?
Depends. Since you have indicated you are interested in engineering, NYU has Woman in STEM scholarships. This scholarship is not need-based. NYU gives half to full rides to women in engineering. Other than that, a full ride is pretty much unheard of. If you are male, then honestly I would not bother applying - unless you feel that you have some sort of special characteristic. If you need any further information, I believe you can look it up on the NYU homepage. I too have applied to NYU. I am keenly waiting for my application to be processed. Good luck!
I just looked at your other threads. It appears you have not yet even taken the SAT or ACT. You also have some queries about prep schools.
What grade are you in?
Also, are you an international student as English does not appear to be your native language.
From a previous post:
If this is a parent posting…it’s a little early to determine college major…nevermind what colleges this student might it might not be competitive for admissions.
And without an admission prospect, financial aid…we’ll…that’s not in the mix either.
The OP needs to clarify the age of the student.
And again I ask…is this a U.S. citizen?
