NEWS: Acceptance rates lower than ever...not good for upcoming classes!

This is NOT good news. My dream was UPENN, now obviously that's done.

It may just mean, due to the higher number of applicants due to the relative ease of online applications such as ComonnApp, that they have had to reject more students than before. Regardless, if you work hard it is still possible to acchieve your goal and it is not “finished.” However, I do think that it is important for everyone, even top students, to look at relative matches in terms of schools. UPENN is not the “be all end all” of colleges and there are plenty of colleges out their with equally outstanding programs that are not nearly as hard to get into. So, keep your chin up, look at all the options surrounding you and keep an open mind.
