idk about you guys but

have you anybody else found this year extremely extremely selective when it comes to college admissions? I know at my school at least there was only one acceptance to a top school out of probably 20 or so applications. does anybody know why this is?

princeton/harvard getting rid of early apps

baby boomers' children

Yah. Increase in college apps this year = competition

WOW. I am getting nervous now!

does that mean that harvard and princetons acceptance rates will probably down into like 7% or 6%? maybe a little higher right? because alot more people are applying... i didn't apply there thank goodness lol

6%!?! ahh that is nuts. I didn't apply there thank god, but there will be a trickle down factor to other top schools, I'm sure.

I'm getting nervous too haha

I predict that the waitlist will be used more than ever. So many more people from my HS were deferred/rejected this year compared to previous years.

Last year was pretty devastating for a lot of students, especially here on CC -- you should've seen how many students were despondent for having to choose among their safeties (or matches, for the arrogant ones).
