4. Yale
5. UPenn
6. UGA
7. University of Maryland-College Park
8. Duke University

so I'm guessing it's pretty good...

The Chronicle is a great paper, in my opinion. I read it every day and I don't even go to Duke yet.

You'll find out within the first week that everyone reads the Chronicle and then you'll start reading it too.

How hard is it to write for them?

Not hard at all!!

They're always looking for staff journalists, photographers, etc. Within the first few weeks of classes, there'll be signs everywhere about info meetings. And honestly, almost everyone reads the Chronicle-- even if its something to look at quickly and do the sudoku or crossword in class

you pretty much pick up an newspaper everyday, and trust me there will be some classes that you will be doing sodoku or crossword in... even if you dont' think so right now

Does the Chronicle cover Laker and Dodgers games?!!

sigh... i will miss my in depth local sports coverage.

Sorry, you won't get any LA sports coverage. They throw in an AP sports article once and a while. You will get some good articles on Duke sports, however. I personally believe that The Chronicle does a much better job reporting the basketball games than the local newspapers. On a side note, I thought that The Chronicle was the best newspaper to read about the lacrosse case. They seem to try to be as accurate and complete as possible, which other local and national newspapers haven't really cared about while covering the case.

lol ya, i know what you mean smokeylarue, but mlb.com and signonsandiego.com have worked fine for me to check out the padres (who will get the NL west pendant again) and the chargers. I am sure LA has their local sports websites too. Plus you could always go to ur favorite sports radio station's website and click on the listen live button somewhere on there

Sweet! I think I want to do something for the Chronicle (not sure what yet).
