<p>I'm a transfer student from a California Community College and I was able to access the link. I'm not sure what this all means, but have you contacted the school about this?</p>

<p>I forgot both my User ID / PID and Password / PAC :( Can anyone tell me if they usually are anything in particular (I likely left it as the default)? Like is it your email address, or the initials of your first/middle name and then your last name? Or is it ALL custom (As in you choose BOTH of them? Or are you given one or both of them and you can later make one of them custom?)? This might help me remember my User ID and Password.</p>

<p>PID is something starts with an "A" and there are numbers afterward (i believe)
ucsd sent you your PID...otherwise email them</p>

<p>Hi, I hope you'll be able to shed some clarification about the confusion regarding this link in this rather stressful/joyous season of college notifications. </p>

<p>I'm a transfer applicant for the Fall 2007 term; Thurgood Marshall is my top choice among the colleges. I understand that admission decisions will be posted via tritonlink beginning late March. Now I was told about this link: newstudent.ucsd.edu, and while I'm able to log into the website, I'm not able to proceed with any of the steps (or at least not yet...?). The dates on the website seem to suggest deadlines for the Spring 2007 term. I guess my concern is whether the fact that I'm able to log in is any indication of the status of my admission for the fall term. I don't want to get ahead of myself as UCSD has said that admission decisions will be posted on tritonlink. So what do you think? </p>

<p>We actually will not be releasing the New Student website for FA07 transfers until after the Statement of Intent to Register deadline of June 1 st.</p>
