So what are you guys going to do this next week when we all know the last wave of acceptances and all rejections comes out?

I think I'm going to rush home from school, but linger around the mailbox for a good 30 minutes. Opening the mailbox is going to take a lot of courage for me haha

I'd like to know a few things. Is it sent US Mail? For those in Northern California, when was it postmarked versus received? Did it take one day or two? A photograph of the envelope or package would be nice.

My friend lives in the Bay Area and she got her package two days after her status went into review; it was dated the day that her application went into review. Others that have been receiving in March are reporting things similar, if not the same.

The packet comes in your mailbox, it just gets folded, horizontally if you need that detail. it is slightly bigger than 8.5x11, and is heavy; it costs $4.61 to send. The majority of the envelope is white, with transparent film over where your address and name are. On the bottom of the envelope there is a goldish/yellowish bar, approximately... and inch and a half thick. the words "PRIORITY MAIL" are stamped in black ink on the front. The top features the address of USC, as well as a seal.

Thanks lewis208 for the detail for which I asked. It's Priority Mail then. I imagine that might make it from SoCal on Friday to NorCal on Saturday.

Thanks, lewis208... I guess I'll pretty much know as soon as I open my mailbox whether or not I've been accepted considering how big the acceptance package seems to be. What's the red part everyone's been describing?

The inside folder containing the letter, certificate, Welcome to USC booklet, Living at USC Booklet and a couple other things is indeed cardinal red.

i sit at my desk, looking out my window to see if the mailtruck is near, and then when he's walking to the front (my mailbox is on the wall next to the front door), i creepily watch him, and then run out and check when he turns to walk away. (ive been doing this for the past 2 weeks lol)
