Next Year's Class Schedules

Here's what i've got down for next year:

AP Calculus
AP Bio 12
AP Chem 12
AP Physics 12
AP English 12
Algebra/Geometry 12

Can't wait till next year --- my schedule right now is actually WAAAAAYYYY harder than what i'm going to have next year :)

GO 'O6!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AP English (lit)
AP Biology
AP Chemistry
AP Government
AP Statistics...or Calc 3/Multivariable Calc
Spanish 4
Adv Debate (sem 1)
AP Microeconomics (sem 2)

I'm seriously considering dropping Econ/Chem for some easier classes...that'd be nice, especially 2nd sem

ilovetocamp: My school only offers 12 or so APs. I will have taken 6, and I think 7 is the most any one student can take. It's a great school. It seems like all CCers go to schools that offer 30+ish APs. How is this possible? I feel like it will hinder me.

CC: Sequences
Math
Piano
maybe chem

Univ.: Sequence
Spanish

APEURO
APLIT

Something like that.

bethlikesun: i dont really see the point of taking too many APs unless ur REALLY dedicated... but i know one girl like that and she is constantly sick (weak immune system from staying up too late night after night) and often in depression (she hides it very well though, tough girl!)

I think by the time i'm done i'll have taken about... 9-10 AP's? and that is more than enough for me.

It won't. Colleges look at how well you've taken advantage of what your school offers.

Senior Next yr..I plan on taking it easy:
Jazz Band
AP Calculus AB
AP Gov/Econ
AP Lang..or Lit not sure
Symphonic Band
AP Spanish Lang 5
06!!!...06!!!..i'm just glad i'll be gettin out during 5th period next yr

thanks, crayon. =D

GO 'o6 b*tchiIZZz.

AP English Lit
AP Gov't/Econ
AP Calc BC
AP Bio
AP Physics C
Gym
Theatre 4 (maybe--we've had quite a few departmental problems this year)

I will be a freshmen in college, so I have no idea. I am terrible at math so i am going to take the lower level math this summer to get it over with, and probably an english class of some sort, not sure yet.

as a senior:
physiology- the only science ap's left are chem and physics, my mortal enemies
AP Govt- if they decide to offer it
AP Econ
English AP/Contemp Lit- still deciding....both maybe?
Calc C,D,E at the community college
Psychology ath the community college
ROP commercial art or Art Workshop

sigh and i naively thought in 9th grade that i'd be free of math by senior year

the math i chose to take is a 4 year program, IMP (interactive math program, or integrated) either way, it took me 2 years to realize i hated it and can't get out of it now.

seeeeeeenior! =)
AP calc ab
AP physics
AP lit
AP psych (haha FUN!)
and spanish 4 maybe. or human anatomy. or ap stats. or DANCE!..

I'm a senior next year, woot! Schedule will be (hopefully!):

1) AP Computer Science AB
2) AP Calculus BC
3) AP English Lit
4) AP Government
5) AP Environmental Science
6) Honors Italian V
7) Honors Physics
8) Gym

Senior year (yea!)
AP Euro
AP English
AP Physics
German 3
AP Stats
Yearbook (editor-in-chief)
AP Econ (zero hour)

I would just like to point out again that I'm only going to be at school for an hour and a half each day (and only 47 minutes on Wednesdays).

Patrick- how would that work out?

I'm a senior this year, freshman in college next year.
My school only offers three AP classes, and my shop teacher wouldn't let the two that I considered because of my practicum/co-op and the third is a zero-hour.

The three my school offers are AP English (zero hour), AP Calc (I'm guessing AB) and AP World History. They only offer three because my school is just now being introduced to AP - my high school is only 10 years old and its a vocational high school.

My senior course load is as follows:
1st Semester:
TV Media 5
Newspaper (chief editor and webmaster - its online)
Physics
English IV/Brit Lit

2nd Semester:
Spanish II
TV Media practicum/co-op (I'm making a promotional DVD for the school and getting paid)
Calculus II
TV Media 6/practicum

I only have to take 2 classes, one of which meets before school normally starts for ten minutes longer than a standard period and we don't meet on Wednesdays. And since I only need two credits and have taken most of the advanced classes there I'm going to get out early and maybe take some classes at the big state U nearby.

For everyone that is taking 4 + AP's: does everyone at your school, including your guidance counselor think that you are crazy? I got it this year for my schedule and im getting the strange look again for this schedule:

AP English Lit
AP Environmental science or AP Stat(whichever my counselor can get to work out)
AP calc AB
AP econ (micro/macro)
AP Gov (Comparative/US)
reg Physics :)
