Next Year's Class Schedules

AP Phy B
AP Calc BC
AP Lit
AP Stats
AP European History
AP Government/Spanish IVH

Not sure if that schedule will actually work out, but it does, I'll be off to vacation 6 days earlier.

Still thinking, but I'm planning this is going to be my JUNIOR schedule. BTW, my school uses block scheduling system.

-Junior English (18 wks; I don't know there will be honors section for this class or not, but if there are, probably I'll go for honors)
-AP Biology(27 weeks;Term 1-3) and Oregon Ecology (9 wks; Term 4)
-Then and Now: World History (9 wks) and American Government (9 wks)
-Function, Statics, Trignometry (18 wks; Term 1-2)
-Pre-Calc (18 wks; Term 3-4)
-Spanish 3 (18 wks; Term 1-2)
-Spanish 4 (18 wks; Term 3-4)

I'd like to receive some comment about this. I know, this doesn't look that tough, but this is actually the most challenging and also fits my interests. If I forget about AP Spanish 5 on senior year, I can put AP USH instead of those 2 social studies courses and spanish, but I still like to learn spanish, and I'm not sure I want to take APUSH, so I think what's listed above is fine.

yea '06!!

AP English Lit
AP Biology
AP French
AP Studio Art
AP European History
Pre-calc

my senior schedule.. if it all works out. :)

AP Chemistry
AP Biology
AP Gov't and Economics
AP English
Entrepneruship
Algerba II w/ Trig
Algebra III
SGA
My schedule has been approved but I'm not anywhere near exicted about the math classes.

Klarion: Algebra III?!? Never heard of it...or is it pre-calc?

06 here too, haha we rule the CC boards. Next year:
AP Bio
AP Physics
AP English Lang
AP Spanish 4
H Newspaper
AP Stats
(BTW, I'm taking American gov and econ at the local jc so I know I'm not missing any classes.)

Deciding on for last period:
nothing (hey, I'll be a senior and all 3 years so far I've taken 7 classes out of a max 7)
Human anatomy
AP Music Theory
H Euro History
Creative Writing
T.A. (do colleges care if you have T.A., even as a senior?)
Choir

Any suggestions for me? I think I'm already killing myself so I might take the 6 period option.

Cool, I'm '06 too!
Now, to break the AP trend... (IB classes!)

Semester 1:
English A1 HL (35IB)
European History HL in French (35IBF)
French A2 SL (30IB)
Chemistry HL (30IB)
Band 30 AM, Festival Choir 20 AM & Chamber Choir 20 AM
Lots of International Politics (helping out Mr.J - I took the course but am still going to be the MUN queen... mwahahah)

Semester 2:
English A1 HL (30IB)
European History HL in French (30IBF)
Organic Chemistry HL (35IB)
Spanish 10 cause I'm cool
Band 30 AM, Festival Choir and Chamber Choir 20 AM
More Intl Politics

By the way... I'm finishing all my Math (yeah, Calc too! and I'm taking Methods not Studies - no worries!) and Biology (SL) this year, which explains the load of languages and history.

Not to mention you guys have like... 7 classes a day or something? We have 4 first semester and 4 second semester... and then anything you add in the morning (AM) or after school (like Intl Poli).

Fun times. I do have enough credits to graduate this year... but I need English and Social 30. School is fun though... why would I want to leave early?

I cannot wait until next year. Copious amounts of HIGHER LEVEL MATH, and the rest of the schedule is cake-walkish so that hopefully I can work at Morgan Stanley. Ahhh the joys of Senior Year :)

i_lose: You've never heard of Algebra III? Blashphemy! LOL

Well based on experiences around the school... It is pre-Cal but it's not (if that makes any kind of sense) the class covers some of the more basic concepts of Calculus although not to the extent of Pre-Cal. I think of it as Pre Pre-Cal

Ah...I see...Our school goes Alg1->Geometry->AlgII(H)->Trig/Analysis(H)->APCalcAB/BC

I'm a sophomore who can't make up her mind about electives for next year and can't decide if she's excited or upset to not have a foreign language for the first time ever.

for sure:
AP Calc BC
AP English Lang.
AP World History
AP Biology [double period]
Orchestra

and then four of these:
AP US GoPo
AP Comp. GoPo
Literature as Film
The Middle East
Thermodynamics
Astronomy
Marine Biology

the time of 05' is over, the time of the 06'ers has begun

I am in my final year of math this year...AP Calc AB...no class needed next year for grad, so i'm taking a year off. Anyway, here's the pending schedule for 05-06 (Sr year)
AP Chemistry
AP English Lit
AP US History
Comp and Speech (semester)
Economics (semester)
Advanced Bio (AKA Anatomy and Physiology)

Bio's gonna be a beast.

'06!

I seriously doubt my senior schedule will actually fit, since most classes are only offered one hour. I could take seven classes, but that means zero hour, and zero hour starts at 7:00.

AP Latin III (Lit, not Vergil...I think)
AP Lit & Comp
AP Gov & Politics
Newspaper
Tumbling (gym credit)/Jewelry and Art Metals
Adv. Algebra II (uhh, long story)

No suggestions for poor lil' ole me? We do signing up end of the month!

For my last period:
nothing (taking 6AP/h)
Human anatomy (teacher doesn't really teach, so I hear)
AP Music Theory (teacher sucks)
H Euro History (teacher only cares about sports)
Creative Writing (tough class. 2 hours/day but really rewarding)
T.A. (do colleges care if you T.A., or is it like a "slacker" class [if even a class at all])
Choir (expensive)

I'm leaning toward T.A., nothing, or human anatomy...suggestions?

Hm, our scheduling is at the end of this month also. Rising junior ('07 here) classes...

AP Chemistry
AP Physics B
AP English Lang.
AP Psychology
Pre Calculus Hon.
Spanish 3
US History

I'm thinking of adding Women's Choir, but I'm not sure yet...the idea of waking up at 5 in the morning is not very appealing.

Here's my issue. I am applying to be a foreign exchange student in Portugal for next year with the American Field Service Program (AFS). I am having stress because I do not know if I will get in or not. If worse comes for worse and I have to go to my regular high school, these would be my classes....

AP Studio Art
AP USH
AP Chemistry
AP Lang
Precalc Honors
Physics Honors
Studio Art (so I can have two periods to work on my AP portfolio!)

I have you all beat! AP English Lit/Comp and AP Econ. That's right. 2 classes.

Back from the dead! Muahahaha...

Anyway, we got course selection sheets today, and I was happily surprised to find AP Biology as a choice under the science section. I'm going to find out more about it and most likely take it next year. So, in conclusion, here is my updated schedule for next year (senior year):

AP English IV
Government/Economics
Calculus
AP Biology
Drawing/Painting

Not TOO bad :-P

AP Calc BC
AP Bio
AP English Lit
AP Macro
AP Spanish
Adv. Dance

carbfree: I'm applying to study with AFS over the summer. I find out about the merit scholarship March 8. Any idea when we find out if we're accepted?

AP Calculus
AP Physics
AP English 12
AP Human Geography
Photojournalism II
Journalism III
Spanish 5 or AP Spanish 5 (not sure which yet)

Fatcookie, Damn dude, r u sure ur not gonna have a freakin brain aneryusm with all those freakin AP's?

Btw, with u guys that have 3 or more AP's, are you in a special program at ur school?
