Next years predictions...

...for USNWR undergraduate rankings for National Universities?

it’s kind of hard to predict thsi sort of thing. it’ll probably stay about the same

^ Those are very reasonable estimations.

bumpppppppp

Beretta, why are you dropping Emory?

You do realize acceptance rate accounts for ONLY 1.5 % of the entire methodology. The much larger endowment figures will play a larger role and Emory’s endowment declined less than the endowments of other peer schools. There is only 1% chance (I repeat 1% chance) we are dropping behind Notre Dame. CR + Math SAT scores actually account for 7.5% of the USnews methodology… and Emory’s average SAT went from 1394 to 1400. These things are hard to predict, but I think Emory will definitely be higher than Notre Dame and probably stick with Rice and Vandy.

I agree with Baretta and alam1. Emory is a good school and should be ranked a bit higher, like tied with Vandy. Notre Dame should be dropped. But apart from that, I think these rankings are quite good.

Where would you put UC Berkeley?? It is ranked as high as 3 in ARWU, but fluctuates wildly.
Also do you think Duke is top 10? It only ranks top 10 on USNWR, but drops in all other rankings.
