NHRP state cutoff scores - Class of 2011

<p>Hello all, we just got our first report of PSAT scores necessary to qualify for NHRP, so I'm starting this thread for people to post for their state. I will post summaries occasionally to facilitate finding scores.</p>

<p>Please be explicit in which you are reporting:</p>

<li>State cutoff given by NHRP/CB.</li>
</ol>

<p>OR</p>

<ol>
<li>Score received by a student that qualified for NHRP.</li>

<p>Got an email from the College Board saying that Texas’s cut off score was 182 this year.</p>

<p>How do we do this? I filled in the Puerto Rican bubble, but I’ve heard nothing about this (though I did get my NMSC letter).</p>

<p>Update on Class of 2011 NHRP state cutoffs reported so far:</p>

<p>CA: 184
FL: 193
ID: 184
NY: ca. 184
OK: 182
OR: 184
TN: 193

<p>Here are the 2011 cutoff scores for each region, straight from the College Board.
Region 1 - New England - 184
Region 2 - Mid Atlantic - 184
Region 3 - South - 193
Region 4 - Southwest - 182
Region 5 - Midwest - 193
Region 6 - West - 184</p>

<p>Apparently state cutoff scores are defined by the region cutoff score, and this is consistent with what entomom is reporting.</p>
