think with my stats i can jion nhs?

^^^ We can't tell you...check with your school's sponsor. Different schools have different requirements.

NAS just sounds good, really don't worry about. ^_^

i'm a freshman, just joined nhs. i went to the first meeting, but the times are so random -- rarely fit my schedule. so probably won't actually go.

It seems to me that all the things a student needs to do to maintain their membership in NHS (required service hours, maintaining GPA, etc.) are things that they are already doing anyway (that's how they got in, after all). So NHS is basically just a schoolwide, formal verification that its members are involved students with good grades. The service, grades, and extracurriculars are what matter most to colleges, and having them but not NHS membership doesn't mean much.

Forget about NHS, admission officers must see that on half the applications they look at.

You need to put all that gaming dominance on your college resume. Haha. I used to play Counter-strike on a CAL team. I'm gonna put that in my EC's.

Okay professional gamer, I'll take you in Halo 3 any day! :P

NHS reeks of favortism, subjectivity, and secrecy. I'd recommend you boycott it at your school.
