<p>NIH sounds like it provides a great program, but I'd like to know from someone who has already done it. They basically seem to throw you out cold a bit - provide your own housing, etc. (which is a bit difficult for me because there aren't any locations near my own home, so I - at 16 years of age - would have to live alone for a few months...?)</p>
<p>Anyways, have you done it? If so, how was it? If not, then are you applying?</p>
<p>How selective is it? How do colleges view it?</p>
