NJ-Engineering RD

Hi, I live in NJ and I am Indian. I would like to do some sort of engineering, right now automotive engineering. Penn’s SAE program really interests me. Since I also like biology, I will keep bioengineering as a fallback major. Here are my stats:

SAT I:
630V 670M = 1300
670V 730M = 1400
GPA:
3.8/4

SAT II:
770 math iic
740 chem
writing in Nov

APs:
Chem-4

Schedule:
junior-
AP chem
PreAP calc hon
english III hon
adv physics hon (AP Physics B equivalent)
rest all honors

senior-
AP Physics C
AP Calc BC
english iv hon
robotics
hon band
PEER leadership
AP business/org

EC'c:
-Basically big on music, all bands, jazz, marching (section leader), wind ensemble etc...
-varsity tennis 3 years, freshman year was JV
-some clubs, TSA, FBLA
-went to Cornell and took Stat and programming had a blast
-went to India and visited an orphanage for two weeks, probably a good essay topic.....
-volunteering at local hospital maybe 150 hrs
-NHS
-Chem Olympiad junior year school got 1st in state

So, what do you guys think?

3.8 GPA and 1400 on your SAT pretty much puts you around the mean for out-of-state Engineering students. So you have a decent chance. It is getting late. You better apply ASAP. Michigan has roling admissions. It gets much harder once November comes along.
