<p>Many posters are getting notified by phone. Does anyone know if NJ uses phone or mail or both. Has anyone rcvd a nomination yet from an NJ representative ?</p>
<p>I believe Lautenberg and Menendez notify end of December into January…I have heard MOC can give Christmas calls</p>

<p>Our congressman (Frelinghuysen - 11th District) called my son at school - they pulled him out of class and made a big deal out of it. Two days later we received two letters from the congressman - one saying he received a nomination, the other saying he received the appointment. A week later we received the Appointment from the Academy.</p>
<p>My son has a friend who is also applying - and he too received a letter (but no phone call) that he received a nomination. I don’t believe he has heard from the Academy yet.</p>
