NJ/PA and NY students: Save the date for Thanksgiving transportation

For new students and their parents from NJ (and PA close to Philly area) and NY, I am posting this as a heads up about a great service that the school offers. There is a very nice (not school bus but actual greyhound type) chartered bus that goes from Stamp Student Union to take kids home to Cherry Hill, MetroPark and Port Authority. It's VERY convenient since it's directly to/from campus BUT you have to book it within the first hours of the registration opening or else you won't get it. So, mark your calendars NOW to call at

Last year, my son had a heavy class schedule on the registration date, so I offered to do it for him, got distracted at work and didn't get to call until 1 p.m. - by then, it was sold out! There really are that many students from this region, so please take this advice to call early seriously. They do have a waitlist, and if there is enough to book an additional bus (they have at least 5 if I recall) then they will add it, so if you do miss the timing, def do the waitlist.

Typically, Greyhound or other bus services are less money if you book well in advance EXCEPT for holiday travel which prices out to be pretty much the same cost. When you take into consideration you can skip the step of taking the metro to get to the bus, it really is a bargain.
