NJIT Computer Science

Hi,

I am an international student and just got an admit for NJIT Master's in CS Spring 2014. I have heard a lot of bad reviews about NJIT. Is it really that bad which is just not worth? Please help me out to make a decision about NJIT. How are the internship and job opportunities? I believe atleast that should be a plus point with so many software companies in NY/NJ area! But I havent really heard any good reviews about this either! Really freaked out to make a decision.. :(

It isn’t the best of colleges, but it is a technical institute, which means that all of the companies that come to recruit are there for CS/engineering. It is in Newark, and the standards are pretty low. I would like to suggest Rutgers to you, which is ranked 25th in CS by USnews. Other than that there is also NYU-Poly and Stevens, but the cheapest option is NJIT. I would like to say that NJIT does have a good ROI. Just my two cents worth.
