NJIT Honors Interview - Have questions.

My son was just notified that he is to be interviewed for NJIT Honors program.
We have a few questions.

1. Do parents attend? I would think not, but just want to be sure.

2. What type of questions are usually asked? What should he expect.

Any info is appreciated.

Thanks so much.

My parents did go with me to the interview. we went to the Honors building and they sat us in a conference room with other students and their parents. When they were ready for me they called me in and only asked a few questions that they basically already knew, such as major, GPA, They did ask if I had any questions which he should be prepared to ask a few questions regarding the school/major and not what you can find on the website. I think they just want to put a face to the person they might want in the Honors program. Then we went back to the conference room and parents where able to ask a few questions if we had any. He basically had said he was nominating me to the Honors program. Which in about a week or so we received the acceptance letter. That was my interview, maybe someone else had a different experience. They were very nice and laid back.

Thanks so much for the info and congratulations to you on being accepted.
