NMSF Letter of Intent to Become U.S. Citizen??

<p>Since I am not a citizen of the U.S., I am required to write a letter stating my plans for becoming a citizen in order to qualify. I'm sure someone must have gone through this process, so I would appreciate if someone could answer my questions. </p>

<ol>
<li><p>When is the deadline for the letter? I know Jan. 31, 2010 is the date for the forms.</p></li>
<li><p>How long should the letter be? Who should it be addressed to?</p></li>
<li><p>Do I need to "justify" why I want to become a citizen? </p></li>
</ol>

<p>I wrote mine yesterday in two sentences: 1) I plan to become a U.S. citizen on **** date, and 2) I will be eligible to apply for citizenship on **** date. Signature. Name. The end.</p>

<p>Anyone knows what exactly am I supposed to write?</p>
