NMSQT Commended Student Cutoff?

Hi! I'm a junior in high school and I signed up to take the PSAT this year. My goal is to be commended. What is the minimum score you can get for the state of Tennessee?
The first link says it's 203, but the second says its 200. Which one is correct?

It varies by year.

@babytomato…Just to clarify, NM Commended status means you’re in the top 50,000 scoring juniors on the PSAT for that given year and it is a national level cutoff. Historically (at least recently) it has been between 200 and 203. For the Class of 2015 test takers, it is 201.

If you’re wondering about NM Semifinalist status, those scores vary from state to state. TN had a cutoff for the Class of 2014 students of 212. This year’s state cutoffs are not official yet, but it looks like the TN cutoff for SF is at least no higher than 212…and possibly a few points lower. We’ll know more after Sep 10th when NMSF information is “allowed” to be publicly released.

Oh, so the cutoff is based on how well others score on the test. Thanks for the clarification!
