No Acceptance letter yet?

I just kind of have a quick question.
I’ve heard back from all of my other schools except this one. And I’m just wondering, are they waiting to send me a letter based on my audition? Or are they just behind. The last time I called them, they said they were behind with transcripts, but that was a while ago.

Firstly, what audition? CSUF theatre has no audition unless you are a transfer and jurying into the BFA?

Secondly, it took a long time for me to get an acceptance letter too. Check your TITANonline and that will have the bestt info on your application status.

The admissions and records office at Fullerton is INSANELY difficult to deal with. Transcripts always take weeks to get looked at. Keep calling them .

I am a transfer student trying to get into the B.F.A. program in Musical Theatre :)

Thank you very much! I will check the website and give them a call.

Hi, I'm not a Musical Theatre student, but I'm a transfer applying to Fullerton as well. I still have not received an acceptance/rejection either, and when I called, the lady said they were 5 weeks behind. shrug

Add to the "challenges" of dealing with A&R, we have a new computer system for student records, and we are smack dab in the middle of the conversion from the old system (SIS+) to the new system (CMS Peoplesoft). This is causing a little more delay than normal because we are all still learning the new system (QUITE modernized from the old one).

Liz is right - check the status on your Titan Online account (I think it's under "Admission") to find out if admission granted. Use the ID & password sent to you in your letter acknowledging receipt of application to the university.

I think that if you haven't heard yet but you applied a while ago, you are likely "in." It is quicker to evaluate and disqualify based on insufficient coursework, grades, etc.

:)
