My Ap Art History teacher didn’t get the mock exams in time so we’re not having one. Is there some other way I can take it? Will using old exams posted online to practice be the same as taking the mock exam?
I don’t think so because the “mock” exam is actually the real AP exam taken by students the previous school year. Teachers have to order it from AP Course Audit, so practicing for the 2018 ap art history exam with old exams posted online will definitely help, but not as much as the actual mock exam, because mock exams are designed to give you a feel of how test day will be like, which means the test will be timed (just like the real AP exam).
Do you know how it’s timed? I could time myself.
@theoxes Sorry for the late response; I’m pretty sure if you go to the College Board’s AP Central website and go to Art History (https://apcentral.collegeboard.org/courses/ap-art-history/course), open the course description (a PDF) and scroll to the very bottom, you’ll see some practice MC questions and it tells you the timing. Hope this helps and have a good day.
