No Ap during Junior year

<p>okay, I'm like in a big trouble here with taking APs.
i'm going to be a junior this fall, and won't have any Aps.
the thing is that I didn't make into APUS or APENG,
but I could have taken APstats and aP environmental science.</p>

<p>the problem is that I realized it too late,
since when I discussed with my mom, she said to take a easy course, without any AP
and keep up with my GPA up for my junior year while other ppl are struggling with Aps.</p>

<p>However what I thought during this summer was that I have made a hhuge mistake.
NO APs during Junior year, the year which the colleges look at the MOST! :(</p>

<p>I have emailed the counselor, and she said it is too late for enrollment. </p>

<p>what am I suppose to do?
well, my GPA overall so far is pretty nice, but I'm scared that NO AP will effect me alot for my college app.</p>

<p>should I ask my counselor again before the summer ends with my parents?
or should I take community college course if possible?
or is there any suggestions?</p>

<p>I know I screwed up alot here, and I'm also really stressed, so I won't accept any kind of "oh you screwed up your life." or "you don't have any choice"</p>

<p>First of all–you did NOT screw up a lot. You’re okay. Take a deep breath. In. Out. Okay. Let’s continue.</p>

<p>Colleges don’t look at junior year the most. They take a comprehensive view of your transcript. It’s okay if it’s too late to get into an AP course. If it makes you feel better, go ahead and take a CC course if you have the time. Try and make up for it next year and take a couple APs as a senior. Don’t believe the myths that they don’t look at senior year. That’s an important year, and it can make or break your admissions. Keep your GPA up, find a fun place to volunteer, and maybe take a CC course. Next year’s a new start. You’re fine. This didn’t ruin your chances to a good college. You’re still waaay in the running.</p>

<p>take a CC course. I also feel like my junior year schedule isn’t very rigorous, so that’s what I’m doing. nothing else can be done at this point.</p>
