My high school doesn't offer AP courses. Is it worth taking the tests if I maybe saw Ivy Leagues as a possibility in the future?

Colleges look to see that you took the hardest courses available to you. It’s not your fault if your school has no APs. You can self study APs. Look around the AP Preparation Forum on CC. Some APs are easy to study, like AP Bio and AP Human Geography, and there are some really touch ones, like Physics.

i wouldn’t worry about the fact that your school doesn’t offer APs since colleges will know this and won’t judge you for it. however, if you want to challenge yourself or go the extra mile to make yourself stand out, then self-studying APs is a great idea.
as risubu said, there are some that are really tough to take without the class, but many are completely possible to self-study; i’m self-studying AP US Gov right now and it’s pretty easy. I’ve also heard that AP Economics is pretty easy to teach yourself, and i think same for Environmental Science, along with others. look through the AP threads to see what APs would be good to learn on your own.
