<p>I am currently a junior in high school(Ca)</p>

<p>Soph. gpa: 2.85
Junior gpa: 4.16 (1st sem.)
'uc gpa' =around 3.4</p>

<p>I assume I will not be accepted by any UC, especially UC Davis, with my gpa? My sat score is about 1800-2000, so unfortunately I've got nothing going for me. I really slacked off the first two years of high school, and now it seems like there's not much I can do. I'm debating whether I should just 'give up' and opt for the community college route. Just wondering what others would do in my situation...</p>

<p>I think you're overly paranoid. Your GPA isn't horrible, and you still have another year of high school to bring it up. Also, you application isn't comprised of your GPA alone, and you have to bring good ECs to the school. So just try to bring your grades up and get involved in ECs.</p>
