Welcome to the life of me where I like an upperclassman and I only get to talk to him at Academic Competitions. In the spring.

At least you have periods of time where you’re guaranteed to talk to him (the academic competitions) - starting this fall, I won’t be able to have a single conversation with him.

True, but I’ve liked him for 2 years and nothing has happened other than slight flirting.

Perhaps do some EC’s with him? Whenever there is an NHS volunteer opp that he’s doing, I ALWAYS sign up for it too.

And maybe you’ll find someone new this year? For example. I’m beginning to like my best guy friend… which is a bad thing :/.
Not to mention we are for sure going to have at least 2 classes together next year. Ugh.

All of his ECs are guy-sports things that I can’t partake in - like football. :/

Sort of off-topic, but I don’t understand why people have monogamous crushes, especially when they don’t know the person well…I mean, aren’t there a lot of attractive people you could be attracted to?

^ I agree. But they may be acquaintances.

Something about your post makes no sense. If he’s a good friend then why wouldn’t you be able to talk to him? My best friend was my crush and he moved 75 miles away and we still manage to hang out?!
