Okay, I am getting fairly worried that something is up with my application for Cornell, so I was wondering if anyone else is going through this. I sent my application in late, and by late I mean close to midnight the night it was due. I have not received any e-mail confirming that my materials have or have not been received. I have only received my applicant ID. I applied to CALS, so I am wondering:

Has anyone received any emails from Cornell (if you applied to CALS) other than the applicant ID?

Has anyone received a request for 1st mp grades from CALS?

I applied to CAS and haven't gotten anything except my applicant ID. but when I sign in to my application status page it says that everything has been received and is under review. so i assume everything is fine.
and i think only people who applied to CoE received requests for 1st quarter grades.

"Has anyone received any emails from Cornell (if you applied to CALS) other than the applicant ID?"

I haven't, but my situation might be different because I'm a GT. I received that applicant ID email a few days ago, and called to see if there was anything that I should be doing, and they told me to just wait.

When you log on applicant ID it should tell you the status of your application, but it definitely wouldn't hurt to give admissions a call to put your mind at ease.

I'm applying to CALS, I haven't been contacted either. My application status indicates that my "materials have been received and sent to admissions for review."
If your status says that, you should be fine.

I had that same worry too...I applied to CAS. Are we gonna get calls for regional interviews or something? Cause it's late November...I'm so nervous!! Argh...

Yeah, I applied to HumEc ED and my application status says that my application is being reviewed.
However, I haven't gotten a request for an alumni interview yet... and it's November 23rd already.
