I received the UCLA Alumni email yesterday but still no confirmation email to set up an account, but I have made an account with all the UCs except for UCLA already. I think this year it’s because of the overwhelming number of applications.

I don’t think you set up an account for UCLA like other UCs. They direct you to this page:

[Admission Decisions - UCLA Undergraduate Admissions](http://www.admissions.ucla.edu/Applicant/Decision/default.htm)

Apparently some people didn’t get the UCLA confirmation email when they sent them out in december, I was one of them and they sent me an email today.

"It has come to our attention that the email we sent to you in early December acknowledging your application to UCLA might not have reached you. We’ve included a copy of the original message below.

Sincerely,
UCLA Undergraduate Admissions"

I know I was really worried, so I hope this helps those of you who haven’t gotten one yet. It seems like an error occurred, but they’re re-sending them out.

I just received the same email as above today. I had not received any notification prior. I also received the scholarship email today.

I finally received the confirmation email today and it said the same thing as @NDD101 posted.

My son got the same email. Very glad to finally get official notification other than the email from the alumni association regarding applying for the scholarship ;-)

Uh-Oh, I still have not received this email. I got the scholarship email though…

I just got an e-mail confirming my application, stating that they actually sent me the e-mail back in december but ‘it has come to their attention’ that i might not have received it, so they re-sent a copy.
