I've gotten acknowledgements from all the other UCs.

No…my so hasn’t gotten one either. He received one from all the other UC’s he applied to. I called a week ago or so and they said that they notified in waves and not to worry. Which school did you apply to? My son applied to Engineering.

Same here, don’t worry. I applied to Engineering. Does anyone know when in March they release decisions?

Same here too, I am kind of surprised we have not received one by the 15th.

Emails don’t really mean anything. From November to like May UCLA only sent me two emails: one telling me they got my application, and another telling me that decisions had been made.

It’s really understandable. They got a record number of applications this year: +91,000, so i wouldn’t be surprised if that has something to do with it.

^That.

They really don’t mean anything… but I guess it’s just nice to get e-mails from them. I would just look out for e-mails inviting you to apply for scholarships (like the Alumni Scholarship one… if you qualify to be considered for it, definitely at least fill out the app) and then the decisions e-mail in mid to late March.

Yea, I didn’t get any neither but I don’t think we need to worry… And really 91,000+ apps? Wow.

I know it might sound weird but you guys better go check your old stuff. Like half a month ago I was wondering why I’ve not received the UCLA email and that’s the only one I was waiting, so I typed UCLA and searched and there was one UCLA confirmation email sent a while ago in Dec. It was actually the first one among the other UC’s.
The last one that was sent to me was from UCBerk.
