No essay on application & Transfer chances

I applied yesterday as an in-state transfer with an AS. I see a lot of people talking about how important the application essay is but I was never asked to write an essay during my application. Is the application process different for transfers with 60+ hours completed or did I just completely miss it?

also, as a transfer from community college with a 3.46 program gpa (3.55 when I graduate this december), how are my chances at being accepted?

This is my first university application so I am a bit nervous.

I actually don’t 100% know the answer, but as a transfer, I would assume that your GPA is the most important thing. Getting accepted would depend upon the major you are applying to and how competitive it is. Your GPA looks very good. Contact admissions and ask about the essay- submitting one won’t hurt you. Hopefully, you will hear back quickly- let us know how it goes and good luck!
