I was recently admitted into the UCLA Class of 2016. I submitted my FAFSA on February 28 after making a correction to it, so I submitted it a while ago. However, UCLA still has not received my FAFSA (it's not only them- UIUC didn't get it either yet). However, MIT did. Is this just some coincidence, or should I contact them and make sure everything works out? I am still considering this option due to the promising "estimated" financial aid that I have been awarded.

To reiterate: I've checked my FAFSA several times. It says that it was submitted successfully, and I received a confirmation email and code as well. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance.

At least I’m not alone. If anyone even has a suggestion, I’d love to hear it. I will most likely contact them tomorrow though to make sure that nothing gets jeopardized.

PS: I DID have UCLA as one of my schools under the FAFSA.

Yes same here!!
I checked all the possible things that could be wrong. My SSN is correct, I have the correct school code, I submitted a MONTH ago… hmm

Thank god I am not alone. I have the same issues, and my other UCs have received my Fafsa and even offered me aid. I was going to call the financial aid office tomorrow. If anyone else gets to it before me let me know!

Yes, I logged on finaid on myucla.edu and it says not yet recd FAFSA. I even printed copy of FAFSA submitted page with UCLA and other schools listed. I already email to UCLA fin.office so hopefully they will fix the problem or reply me with further instruction.

I am POSITIVE that my fafsa was filed correctly. I even got the receipt.

I was just about to start a new thread about it too but caught this one.
I got admitted this past Friday and was excited but then, being an for Out-Of-State, I saw the price tag and my jaw dropped so I looked for my FAFSA aid. But it says they haven’t received my FAFSA! I don’t want to pay a non-refundable $100 just to see if I get financial aid, especially since it probably won’t be enough and I won’t end up going anyway!.. (SIGH I wish UCLA had more money…)

anyway, I hope some you get a response. If so, please share!

I called them and they said it will be a while (like a week) before they can process and download all the information for the freshmen because we were just RECENTLY admitted. And if you have any questions, call them either from 10-12 or 2-4. Hope I helped!
