... Halp! D:
What should I do? I submitted my Fafsa on time... I even got the FAFSA confirmation email. ("Your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) has been processed and the data will be made available to the school(s) listed on your FAFSA. The financial aid office at your school will contact you if additional information is required.")

x______________________X;

I'm planning to call UCLA and ask them what's going on~

Anyways. My question is this:
Do I still get full financial aid? ( Because I TOTALLY SENT IT TO THEM AND THEY'RE THE ONES WHO LOST IT! D: I'm sorry if I sound so like... DRAMAQUEEN! ~__~ But this is the SECOND TIME a college has lost my stuff. ;-; )

Oh, and yes. I still have my confirmation page! It pays to print everything out! :]

I'm going to totally laugh if the UCLA financial aid office is like "BEJESUS CHRIST, YOU POTENTIAL BRUINS! We haven't been able to upload everything... we thought you'd be too happy to check!"

xD; It seems I'm not alone. So it makes me feel better. Perhaps they'll have it up soon.

There's another thread on this...several people have the same thing.
It might be due to the fact that the system isn't set up yet? After all these acceptance notifications are early.

same thing happened to me and I think I read somewhere that it will say that they have it only when they have your SIR. Does anyone know if this is correct?

i asked them what happened...and you probably were chosen to have your fafsa audited. so basically, you need to go print a verification form and fill out some stuff.
log into fao, and it should come up.

Yeah, I'd say just wait it out and see what happens. If you printed out all the confirmation pages and stuff you shouldn't have to worry too much. Might be a hassle to deal with it but they can't deny you because THEY messed up and you have proof. However, if you didn't print it out, well then I guess you learned your lesson.

I'm too confused! Can you tell me what they mean? I submitted FAFSA and got Cal Grant info for UCLA. What are they saying and what do I do? Thanks in advance!

How can one be expected to commit to UCLA with the SIR if you don't know what the financial aid package is? For many, attendance may depend on the fin aid award.
I think it's just not quite set up yet, due to this early notification date.
