<p>I'm not gettin dicked around by USC anymore. Every other school i've applied to has figured out how to do admissions. USC even has a login and there is NO reason they can't post our decisions online like EVERY OTHER SINGLE SCHOOL. USC has told people that have called that they are aware of College Confidential...the only conclusion is that they enjoy watching us. Time to call their bluff.</p>

<p>These status updates don't even help, they're just a pain. </p>

<p>No more checking my status, no more CC, no more tryin to get into that g*<strong><em>sonuva</em></strong><em>motha</em>***&@#($&#@($&#@&$in RSVP site! In a few days i'll know any nothing's gonna change that. Who's with me?!</p>

<p>Totally agree. I wish I’d never found out about cc. I’d be happily clueless right now - would get my rejection and go ‘oh well’. I’m not checking anything anymore. It’s ridiculous.</p>

<p>The diabolical USC Adcoms have done everything possible to provide fodder for the USC Subforum. The [status page](<a href=“https://camel2.usc.edu/AdmOnlineApplication/AoaMainMenu.aspx”>https://camel2.usc.edu/AdmOnlineApplication/AoaMainMenu.aspx&lt;/a&gt;), the Oasis link, the [RSVP</a> Login](<a href=“http://caravan.esd.usc.edu/resrsvp/Default.aspx]RSVP”>http://caravan.esd.usc.edu/resrsvp/Default.aspx), the merit scholarships, the dribbling of applications over time, the International DSL packages, the many different schools with different requirements, rejections letters saved to the end, the grandiose admissions package, and the use of snail mail for definitive word. All these permutations provide endless material for speculation and analysis.</p>

<p>Compare USC to other colleges, which keep a Sphinx like silence and then wham, a bolt-from-the-blue email or login all at once. There is nothing to talk about. The other subforums are positively dead until a few hours before the decision, whilst at USC it is popping all the time with energy, analysis, speculation, and a whole Trojan community develops (minus the unfortunate rejected at the end).</p>

<p>The USC Adcoms probably how many posts at CC USC gets versus the other colleges, and if they see the post count going down, add some new twist to again rev things up again.</p>

<p>I don’t know if they’re evil geniuses or just plain evil hahaha. Or maybe they’re clueless and we’re overanalyzing this like every other clue we get. The more I think about it, the more I wish I had taken the red pill and gone on oblivious to the whole process (matrix reference). But yeah…■■■</p>

<p>Well, you all got that right! My son is on pins and needles about being accepted or not, but after a few lurks, he is not logging ontp CC because he feels it will just make him nervous. So now I am hooked on this and the go between between CC and my son. I rely him the posts verbally - updating him once or twice a day on whats going on here. I am happy for everyone updates too and happy you all post.</p>
