As I've looked around on college sites, and looked at their credit policies regarding IB..

I wonder why more schools don't accept IB SL courses for credit? I mean many are the equivalent of their AP Counterparts.

bumpity bump

Yeah, that really irritates me. Oh well. Just suck it up.

Oh I have no problems with going for 7’s in my HL classes(The schools I want to attend accept 6’s or 7’s), but I feel it’s just a waste with those SLs then. I mean my state released a new bill telling public schools to change their IB policy, but I haven’t seen anything come to fruition.

IB SL tests are a waste for everything except getting the actual diploma. I think maaaaaybe some schools allow those scores from Junior year to be submitted instead of SAT subject tests, and I’ve heard of rare occasions where someone has petitioned for credit with a 7 in an SL test, but that’s it.

Yeah, I honestly feel if colleges aren’t going to accept them, why take it?

Some of the partial-IB people at my school just take the SL class and take the AP tests instead.

Our partial IB people… lol.
