My daughter applied to 5 schools that require CSS Profile. That’s done.

4 of those schools require that we submit tax forms via IDOC. That’s done.

I went back to check stats. The paperwork has been received, but only three of those four schools are scheduled to get the data. Brown is NOT on that list. I KNOW they require IDOC participation. I called College Board and they said “Brown did not request the data”. I even have a business supplement that I’m certain Brown requires.

Anyone familiar with this?
Do schools “request” one at a time?
Would Brown ever not need the forms (when the other schools all do?)

Nevermind. After MUCH hunting I answered my own question. Guess that probably means I’d be in that nasty “full pay” category. DANG!

"Our office may already have enough information to provide an estimated award therefore an IDOC packet may not be requested from every family. "

so to clarify
if the requirement from collegeboard says that brown is not requesting it, even though on the brown website it says so, then you don’t need to send it in???

I don’t think Brown requires IDOC. I’m an international transfer and was only required to print and fill in two copies of the financial aid application that was on the site (custodial and non-custodial). Then, they asked me to send in income statements and such.

Brown requires IDOC for some, and apparently not for all. This year, for the first time, IDOC is required for (at least some) financial aid renewal applications, as well.
