No IGETC Certification for Transfer

I sent all my transcripts from five different community colleges to UCSD but did not check off "IGETC certification" on any of them. I was under the impression that the university determined whether or not I finished the IGETC fully or partially as viewing the requirements for transfer students for ERC those requirements were dependent on IGETC complete, partial IGETC, articulation, and something else... So I thought UCSD determined my IGETC status.

Moreover, considering the fact that IGETC is not at all required for transfer for my major (Computer Science), I didn't think my IGETC status was all that important.

I'm already pass the deadline now to have my certification sent in and also, I believe I am missing a class or two for a complete IGETC and to have my college send a partial IGETC certification I must first meet with a counselor which will/would-have further delayed the certification being sent in.

All this said... What does this mean? If I'm reading the GE requirements right, I will have to complete four quarters of a foreign language in addition to MWM as well as numerous other random classes... Is this true?

I tried emailing UCSD and never received a response in regards to this issue and I need to know. I was also accepted to USC with full tuition paid and if I must complete four quarters of foreign language and a ton of other courses I feel I rather go to USC.

Anyone know? =/

I think you have to send your IGETC certification before you transfer to UCSD, except Engineering majors.
