no letter yet but expecting rejection.

I believe I was rejected even though I have not received a rejection letter yet. I was accepted into WSU and Seattle U, I was not interested in Seattle U but they invited me to attend the business school. But I like to party and have fun but also get my school work done. Does anyone know anything about Seattle U? I know it only has 4500+ undergraduates which is wayyyyyyyy smaller than I want but I know that it will look better for a graduate school application. Can anyone help please?

Look better than what, for grad school? WSU? No way!

You believe WSU will look better than seattle u business school as an incoming freshmasn? or which will look better for a transfer next year to UW? I wanna have fun but at the same time prepare for my future

WSU will never look good on your transcript, if you have a 3.5 or over your automatically admitted and they have about a 90% acceptance rate. I don’t really know aything about SU, but if you can afford it, I would recommend not going to WSU. I know people from my school who have not taken a difficult class or lifted their finger in high school and got into WSU with below a 3.0 on PE and relationships lcasses

Yeah, WSU is sort of the school people go to because they’ve graduated and they’re like, “Oh, now what? I guess I’ll go to college now, or something.”

i think i’m going to seattle u…i’m not crazy about it because like you, i want to go to a bigger school and have fun…but study too.

But i am familiar with the jesuit school education and it would definitely look better on a graduate school app. anddd its in like downtown seattle, so i’m sure you could find fun stuff to do. also picking the right dorm…i think campion is the party dorm…or at least thats what i’ve found out from a little bit of research. All the dorms are coed, i kind of liked thatt. and 4500 isn’t absolutely tiny, especially because there are so many other colleges around seattle. like UW and seattle pacific…(maybe more…those are the only two i know of). I think on my tour of SU they said it was about a half hour by public transportation to UW.

I hope that helps :)

Yes that helps a lot. I love the city of seattle and may want to try to transfer to UW business school if I do well at seattle u… thanks for your help.

Actually I was just notified I was accepted into ucsd!

Congratulations, mattongaro! It’s nice to have some not-so-great news balanced out with some fab news!

Ha along with the other 30000 applicants. That was disappointing

haha. well…seattle or san diego…

i would go for san diego! how did you get rejected from UW but get into ucsd? that seems weird.

i know someone who got into usc and not into uw

tufts syndrome much?

It was a mistake. That’s why I said along with the other 30000 applicants. They sent an email to everyone as a mistake saying we are thrilled you’ve been accepted :(. I guess seattle u it is.

oh okayy. well i’m totally in the same boat…i guess i won’t be the only one at seattle u who doesn’t really want to be there…

Dang. That entire UCSD thing really sucks. Good luck at SU!
