Yesterday I received my acceptance package in the mail but received no information regarding the merit scholarship. Does that mean I am ineligible? I would think that I would qualify.... (2360 sat, 4.0 unweighted, lots of e.c.s, etc)

Wait until February to see. Sometimes they roll in right before then. If your status changes to something like “We need your midyear report” then you will most likely be admitted come March, as long as your senior grades are solid.

In the past, those who were admitted in the early round without Trutee/Presidential notification were typically offered a Dean’s scholarship (1/4 tuition) by letter within a week or two of receiving their acceptance packet. Let us know if it holds true!

If you have an Explore tab on your USConnect, check which dates are available for you to RSVP. If the dates are after March 12th, then a Dean’s scholarship is the most likely scenario.

*Nelly, the OP will not have to sumbit grades - they have already been accepted!

Okay thanks for the info. I thought I would be a likely candidate for the full scholarship or at least the half scholarship, but I guess not. But then there’s always National Merit, so maybe I’ll have the chance to get a half scholarship after all.

Are you in the picture for national merit? You are entitled to half a scholarship if you are.

You can only go higher if nominated for trustee or presidential.

You could also get FA if you qualify.
