No one knows about this skool. why?

I was not surprised to see that no one has started a topic on SU. I am very interested in the school and will most likely attend if I get the financial aid that I need. I've visited the skool and really enjoyed it. People are down to earth and very personable. Of course its being a LAC may turn some away, but for those like myself who want a very close relationship with faculty and peers, it seems like a great place. I'll admit, I had never heard of Southwestern, or Georgetown, TX (its location) before I started researching schools, but I hope that more people look at the skool and realize how great it is. It is in numerous rankings as well as the "Colleges that change lives" book. Anyway, I'm done w/ my semi-rant lol. But if anybody is looking at SU or is currently attending please post some topics, i feel lonely lol. Thanks guys.

SU alum here. I'm glad to see someone posting. I was just up there in October for a reunion - all the new buildings are amazing and the campus is gorgeous. I think part of the problem for SU is its location - right in the middle of Texas, so the vast majority of students are Texan. It seems like a lot of LACs draw students from a certain geographical range which in most cases would involve several states. But Texas is so big that the geographical range for SU is all within Texas.

I got a great education at SU and made the best friends of my life there.
