I did many ECs but I dont have a prove for some of them

Shall I write them down in my application ? how will they know that am write or wrong ?

sorry right***

no reply ..

plz help .. are those ECs acceptable in eyes of the admission office

Make a list of them all, cross out the absolutely irrelevant ones, order them nicley in the form a simple CV and get it attested from your guidance counsellor, for his attestation will be a proof enough...
dont worry ... The list shouldnt be too long, your ole should be indicated in each EC and tell your GC to send it with the rest of stuff he will be sending from your school!
OK?

well am in an arabian country ( public school ) .. so : no college counselor , the school wont send anything , I will by myself

is that irrational .. they simply dont know how to do all of that !

I have done many leaderships .. ( organized the "against drug campaign" in my town ) .. held a fund raising in the neighbourhood ... etc

what to do ??

Send them. Unless a student got a recommendation from someone involved in their EC activities, no one really has "proof" of involvement.

you should definitely tell them about your ECs - I was involved in stuff which my school/other sources couldn't testify to and I told them :)

K .. how about the ones I have a proof to .. those which are collected in whats called "a portfolio" .. shall i send my whole portfolio .. if not : are they waiting to see it when I go there

??

if they dont need a proof , then this is tooo bad .. some might lie !

:(

some people do lie but don't worry about them - just do whatever you have to do.

And have some faith in the adcom's intelligence - they may have a formula for detecting cheats and liars :D

definitely mention everything you have done. but yes, they dont neet proof. colleges trust you to be honest and they go with the honest policy. =P if someone has to lie to get into a college, i dont think they would be able to survive there.

It is really hard to lie about anything that could have significant influence in admissions.

I could imagine people easily getting away with, for example, adding an extra year to a club membership...

ok .. would this extra year or extra hours in volunteering really affect or higher their chances ..

what do you mean by he wont survive .. r there massacres in the university ?
am too depressed .. actually my friend just got accepted and i think her lies really helped her !

hmm for sure 800 hours volunteer looks better than 200

DUH ! but how far can those liars go
