listing them ECs

umm......well......I've written a list of my ECs (somewhat like a resume) and am sending that to all the colleges.
What I was wondering was whether I should photocopy all the certificates/awards I have and send them along with my application?

(normally i wouldn't have a problem, but 25+ certificates * 14 colleges == 350+ photocopies........and then arranging and sending......will they even browse through my certificates/awards.....)

(the only advantage I see is that photocopying them would prove that they are not fake......)

a lot of the college's i've applied to say that they only want to see what u can list in the little box thingys

and i'm pretty sure that you don't need to back all of them up with certificates, i doubt they'll be skeptical and think that you lied

I don't think u need to send them any photo copies. Most of the schools even mention that sending of photos copies of certificates in not important at all. as thb89 said, listing them would do it. moreoever you GC and Teacher's recommendation will include all that is worth mentioning. so theres no need to send them as proofs.

Yup. No need.

some universities (afaik yale e.g.) even want to avoid their applicants to include their certificates and stuff like that

you don't need to send certificates or testimonials of any kind. I have asked many colleges and all of them said ,"NO" they don't even have time to see your certificates.

thanks a lot :)
that made it a lot easier for me :D
