So I never took the SAT II's. I will be applying EA where they do not require your scores. Will they see through me and my lack of SAT II's? If you apply EA MUST you have taken them at some point?

Wait, if you apply EA you don't need SAT II's??! I'm a little confused.... I thought they required 3.

if you apply early you technically don't need any. but you are either accepted or deferred not rejected. so if you are deferred you WILL have to take all three. so
ya

ok. that's what i thought. To be honest, I'm not expecting a favorable outcome anyway. I mean c'mon, look at me, I didn't even take 3 SAT II's

it's not true that you don't need the sat II's. ofcourse you do -- why hold you to a higher standard than the RD's so you can skip a core component of the application process? SAT II's are your chance to show colleges what you're good at ( you pick 3 tests u wanna take, hence you'll choose the ones you're best at). You will be at a disadvantage applying ED w/out scores, as virtually everyone who is applying ED has already taken the SAT II's. My advice? Sign up for the SAT II's NOW...and state on your application that you will be taking them.

Hey, you can still sign up for the SAT IIs and just take the 3 straight in one day in October; deadline is the 9th of September. If you apply EA, I believe they can get the scores to the school in time (November).

You do not need 3 SAT II's for EA. I got in with 2. If you read through the results thread from last year, you will find no shortage of people who got in with one or none. The thinking is that people applying EA have less time to take their tests in the first place. (Personally, I don't buy that, but hey, the seem to). They tell you to make plan to take the test though, in case you get deferred.
